Design and Development: Utilize design standards and best practices, work under supervision to design and develop digital product user interfaces and experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and accessible. Assist in the design of components of larger systems as part of a team.
Human-Centered Design: Apply HCD principles to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points through research and user testing. Develop an understanding of user experience analysis and its principles. Help other designers conduct user research when needed. Utilize HCD knowledge and principles to support the design and development of China IT organization during (DSO) transformation.
Prototyping and Testing: Create prototypes and conduct usability testing to iterate on designs based on user feedback. Develop an understanding of when to use specific prototyping techniques or methods and look for opportunities to demonstrate their value.
Collaboration: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers, to deliver cohesive and user-centric designs. Proactively communicate and collaborate with product users and stakeholders.
Learning and Growth: Continuously develop design skills and knowledge of design tools and methodologies. Work to understand the business unit and processes associated with the digital product. Understand the most important principles of a modern standards approach and how they apply to current work.
Product Strategy: Contribute to setting the design strategy for the product to ensure the customer and their needs are at the center. Assist in managing the product backlog to achieve the vision and aligned strategy.
